Debbie Guzy, age 47, of Danbury, died on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at Danbury Hospital. Debbie was born in Peekskill, NY, January 6, 1963, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Ann (Dirga) Guzy. A resident of Danbury since 1971, she attended Danbury schools and was employed as a Home Health Assistant. Prior, she was a taxicab dispatcher. She attended the Church of Christ, Danbury. Debbie is survived by a sister, Susanne (Richard) Giordano; a brother, Dave (Cherrylynn) Guzy; four nieces, a nephew, two grand-nieces, two grand-nephews as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends. Funeral services will take place in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9-11 Granville Ave., Danbury on Saturday (tomorrow) at 11:30am . Interment will take place in St. Platon's Cemetery, Danbury in the spring. The family will receive friends in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home tomorrow morning after 9:30am.
